Willamette Valley L.Co. Part III
Created 10/24/10
Boulder Camp:
Although not part of the camp, this old loading dock was used during the reload days for loading rock for
the roads. This one is sitting along the 7-8-22.3 RD. (4/2/98)
Looking at the remains of a trestle that split off from the mainline and serviced the camp.(5/1/97)
Some concrete remains at the camp. These are near the south end of the camp.(5/1/97)
The remains of one of the buildings here at the camp lies about.(5/1/97)
This is one of two donkey sleds sitting at the camp. The other one had too much brush and small trees on
it to take a good picture.(5/1/97)
Boulder Camp was the last camp used by Willamette Valley and served as a reload point for the railroad until it too was
removed. As you drive through here, there is a flattened off area to the right with pipes sticking out of the ground,
broken glass, and other tidbits. On the left was the heart of activity of the camp and the area. There was even a
servicing pit that I could not get a good picture of at that time.
